We read everything that arrives. Reports of incorrect mathematics get answered first, because a wrong answer on a maths site is worse than no answer at all.
We aim to reply within three working days. You will get a faster and more useful answer if you include the details below.
Reporting a problem with a graph
Please include:
- A share link. Press Share above the graph and paste the link. It encodes every expression, slider and window setting, so we see exactly what you see. This is by far the most useful thing you can send.
- What you expected to happen.
- What happened instead.
- Your browser and device, if it looks like a display problem.
Reporting a mathematical error
If a guide states something incorrect, or the calculator returns a wrong value, tell us which page and which statement. If you have a source or a counter-example, include it. We will check it, correct it if you are right, and note the correction on the page.
Requesting a feature
Useful, and we do keep a list. It helps enormously to know what you were trying to do rather than only what you want added, because often there is a way to do it already, and if there is not, the underlying task tells us more than the proposed solution does.
Things already planned: 3D surface plotting, a matrix calculator, a statistics suite, and step-by-step derivatives. Asking for one of these still helps, as it tells us what to build first.
Other enquiries
For advertising, partnerships, permission to reuse material, or legal and privacy matters, use the same address and say what it concerns in the subject line.
For privacy requests specifically, including access or deletion of personal data, please see the privacy policy first. Note that the calculator itself stores nothing about you on our side, so there is usually nothing to delete.
What we cannot do
We cannot solve homework problems or answer individual maths questions by email. There are far too many, and we would not be any use at it. The guides are written to cover the topics that come up most, and the calculator's Analyse tab will find roots, turning points and intersections for you.
Accessibility
If something on this site is difficult or impossible to use with assistive technology, please tell us. Include the page and the tool you are using. We treat these as bugs, not feature requests.
